Constitution: Preamble

I've decided that there is something much more important that needs to be addressed on this blog. The constitution of the US is a very powerful document; many of us believe this but not many of us have actually read the entire thing. What I plan to do is to post bits of it on here to inform everyone as well as add what I believe what each section means. I welcome all commentary and I hope that we can have a good discussion as elections are coming. I think we need to be more informed of our rights, as government tries to systematically take them away.

What I mean is that politicians know that the majority haven't read or even care about the constitution. I hope to change that with this blog. Think I'm wrong? Prove it to me!

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
This is rather self explanatory, I believe. The authors here were making the statement that the nation called the United States of America is now born.

They said that it was imperative that this happen in order to form a perfect union,establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to all Americans.

Forming a perfect union; creating unity amongst the states. Strengthening the nation through unity and improve it economically, morally, socially, and in terms of justice.

Establish justice; creating a justice system, forming laws, providing judges, providing a way for people to seek justice and to plead their cases.

Insure domestic tranquility; create defense against foreign countries that may wish to invade or have hostile intentions towards the US. This also applies to provide common defense.

Promote the general welfare; create a strong nation that provides a means for people to pursue happiness. Fair wages and good supply of medicine.

Secure the blessings of liberty to all Americans; create a free country where its citizens are able to pursue happiness. Less government, more citizen power.

Remember the beginning of the Preamble, we the people... Not we the politicians, not we the top 1%, we the people, all of us collectively have these freedoms and the government should not interfere and stick to defense.
